Mathew Kardell

Mathew Kardell is the current Chief Revenue Officer at CO-OP Financial Services. Prior to their current position, they held the same title at CO-OP Financial Services for 5 years and 4 months. Mathew also held the title of SVP/GM - STAR Network Relationships and Sales at First Data Corporation for 4 years and 5 months. In this role, they were responsible for all STAR Network Client Relationships from both a Merchant and Financial Institution perspective. Mathew also managed the STAR Executive Sales and Strategic Relationship Team that managed contract renewals of existing business, as well as all net-new Sales for the Star Network. In addition, they acted as First Data's Senior Executive for the Omaha, NE site, which is First Data's largest, with over 5,000 Owner/Associates. In this role, they were a member of the Boards of The Omaha Chamber of Commerce, College World Series Inc, The United Way of the Midlands, and the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), Alumni Association. Mathew was also responsible for over $2B of Annual Managed Revenue, as well as $150M in Annual signed sales quota for First Data's Financial Institution (FI) Division portfolio of Clients. This line of business included over 4,000 Financial Institutions for both the Card Issuing and Acquiring (Revenue Share Alliance - RSA) lines of business in North America. Mathew managed an organization of over 250 Senior Relationship and Sales Executives responsible for maintaining Managed Revenue, renewing existing clients, pentrating new signed sales with existing clients, and signing net-new clients to the firm. The portfolio emcompassed realtionships with First Data's largest Strategic Financial Institutions, Community Financial Institutions, Credit Unions, Group Service Providers, and HealthCare Providers. Mathew was also a member of First Data's TOP 150 Executive Team and acted as the Senior Executive and Community Advocate for First Data's largest employee site (5200 Employees), in Omaha, NE.

Mathew Kardell attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 1984 to 1990, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Finance and Banking.
