Carrie Ostrem

Carrie Ostrem is an experienced professional with a strong background in audit and financial services. Currently serving as the Director of Certification Services at CU Strategic Planning since September 2012, Carrie also works as an independent contractor specializing in writing. Prior roles include Legal Assistant at Emery Reddy, and various positions at Watermark Credit Union, including Internal Audit Manager, Internal Audit Specialist, Loan Control Collections Specialist, Member Service Consultant, and Information Call Center Specialist. Notable achievements include designing annual audit plans for a $550M credit union, performing extensive operational and compliance audits, and developing fraud monitoring procedures. Carrie holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of North Dakota and a Paralegal Certification from the University of Washington.
