Alena Harbatava

Alena Harbatava has a diverse range of work experience. Alena started their career as an Economist in the International Relationships Department at the State Institute of Agricultural Research in 2009. Alena then worked as a Specialist in the Customer Support Center at Belrosbank, Société Générale Group in 2010. In 2011, Alena became a Leading Financial Analyst in the Business Customers Department at BTA Bank, Kazkommertsbank Group. Alena took on the role of Consultant at Strategy&, part of the PwC network (formerly Booz & Company) in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, Alena worked as a Financial Analyst, specializing in Strategic Planning, Investor Relations, and M&A at Gruppo Unipol. In 2017, they joined MeA Consulting as a Consultant and StartYouUp as a Business Developer. Currently, Alena is working as the CFO & Operations at Cubbit, the first geo-distributed cloud provider in Europe. Additionally, they are a mentor at Techstars as of 2021.

Alena Harbatava received a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Belarusian State Economic University in 2011. Alena then went on to earn a Master's degree in International management (CLAMDA – IM) from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna from 2013 to 2015.
