Ryan McGann

Ryan McGann has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2004 as a Mechanical Engineer at Kaleidoscope Inc. In 2010, they moved to Oakley as an Advanced Product Development Engineer, where they were responsible for ideation of new product concepts, R&D on new optical coatings, and conceptualization of future Oakley products. In 2017, they became a Technology Commercialization Advisor at Stony Brook University, and in 2018 they were a Strategic Advisor and Acting COO at Intrigma Inc. In 2015, they founded InLoop Ltd., a VC-backed software start-up that aggregates and disseminates content for industry trade groups. In 2019, they founded HydrOrganic Farms LLC, an vertical hydroponic farming and robotics research company. Most recently, in 2022 they founded CubicAcres LLC, a sustainably powered hydroponic vertical farming company producing hyper-local crops without pesticides or fungicides.

Ryan McGann received their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business from Stony Brook University in 2007, after attending from 2004 to 2007. Ryan then went on to receive their Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University in 2009.
