Gordon Walding

Gordon Walding has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gordon began their career at KPMG as an Audit Manager, where they worked with clients in the Information & Communication, Entertainment, and Financial Services sectors. Gordon later joined Goldman Sachs as a Senior Accounting Officer, managing corporate reporting for multiple legal entities within the European Special Situations Group. At Shell, Gordon served as a Financial Controller for several legal entities, including Shell U.K. Ltd. Gordon'srole at Ophir-Energy as a Group Financial Accountant involved financial accounting responsibilities. Currently, Gordon holds the position of Group Finance Director at Cubico Sustainable Investments, a leading global investor in renewable energy projects.

Gordon Walding obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting with a focus on Financial Accounting from the University of Cape Town in 2002. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting from the same university between 1999 and 2001. In 2006, they obtained a certification as a Chartered Accountant from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
