Anand Agarwalla, Ph.D.

Anand Agarwalla, Ph.D. has a range of work experience in the field of chemistry and photonics. Anand currently holds the role of Senior Device Engineer at CubicPV Inc. since April 2022. Prior to this, Anand completed their Ph.D. in Chemistry at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, where they focused on studying the role of ions and interfaces in Perovskite Solar Cells. Anand held this position from June 2017 to June 2022.

Before their Ph.D., Anand worked as a Research Assistant at Nanyang Technological University from August 2016 to March 2017. Anand also gained experience as a Project Intern at Bayer in 2014, where they optimized the energy and water usage of a greenhouse through data acquisition and model development.

Anand Agarwalla, Ph.D. completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2011 to 2016, they attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay for a Dual Degree B-Tech + M-Tech in Energy Sciences and Engineering. In 2015, they also briefly studied at CentraleSupélec, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree. Continuing their academic journey, from 2017 to 2021, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Solar Energy Technology/Technician at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne).
