Geert Houben

Geert Houben has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they became a Mentor, Advisor & Member of the Jury for Birdhouse. From 2011 to present, they have been the Founder & CEO of Cubigo, a leading all-in-one software platform for senior living operators. From 2008 to 2009, they were the Managing Director of both Asconit BVBA and Aristoco. From 2004 to 2008, they were the Research & Business Development for Hasselt University's Expertise Centre for Digital Media, where they were also responsible for the research track "Adaptive User Interfaces" in the European project MYCAREVENT. Finally, in 2008, they became the Managing Partner of the Lifestyle Improvement Project, where the first project was ChampagneBox.be.

Geert Houben's education history includes a Master in Business Economics from UHasselt from 2006 to 2008, a Master in Computer Science from UHasselt from 2000 to 2004, and a Latin-Math program from Salvatorcollege Hamont from 1994 to 2000. In 2010, they also completed a Management of Innovations program at Vlerick Business School.
