Amel Gaily

Amel Gaily serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Cuckoo, a leader in science-backed smart break experience solutions, since February 2023. Gaily holds board member positions at the Finnish Association for Social Enterprises (ARVO ry) and The Shortcut, an impact-driven organization focused on professional integration and entrepreneurship in Finland. Previously, Gaily was the Managing Director of the Finnish Business Angels Network (FiBAN), significantly contributing to one of the world's largest business angel networks. Prior roles include Master Expert at Nordea, where Gaily developed frameworks for anti-money laundering, and various positions at Danske Bank and Lufthansa. Gaily's educational background includes advanced degrees in Economics and Business Administration from Hanken School of Economics and the University of Turku, among others.
