Scientist at Cue Biopharma

Emily Christie has held a variety of roles in the field of biotechnology and biomedical engineering. Emily began their career in 2012 as a Student Supervisor at Robert Purcell Community Center, where they led a team of student employees and gained experience in customer service. In 2013, they began working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Cornell University, and also completed a Senior Design Project, during which they designed and built a functional prototype of a ski boot with sensors. In 2014, they served as a Student Observer at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, where they observed an oncologist in their daily activities. In 2015, they worked as a Master of Engineering Project for Humanitarian Engineering Team and as a Student Intern at Roskamp Institute, where they extracted lipids from a variety of sample types and analyzed samples using LC/MS and GC/MS. From 2016-2018, Emily Christie worked at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Biotech Production Specialist and at Cue Biopharma as a Senior Associate Scientist and Associate Scientist I.

Emily Christie attended Cornell University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biological Engineering. Emily then continued their education at Cornell University Graduate School from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Biomedical Engineering.
