Maia Collins is an experienced culinary professional currently serving as a Culinary Arts Teacher at Suffolk Public Schools since 2019. Alongside this role, Maia has been a Casual Gourmet Instructor and Freshman Admission Presenter Chef at the Culinary Institute of Virginia since September 2015. Prior culinary experience includes externships at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Kingsmill Resort in 2014 and 2013, respectively. Maia Collins holds a Bachelor's degree in Food Service Management and an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from the Culinary Institute of Virginia, completed in 2018 and 2015, respectively.
