Ash McDowell

Ash McDowell has extensive work experience in finance and management roles. They currently serve as the Financial Director at Culture Shift and as the Chair of the Finance & Risk Committee at Sheffield Hallam Students' Union. Previously, they worked as the Director of Finance & UK Site Manager at Ballyclare International. Before that, they held the position of Group Financial Controller at LED Hut Ltd, where they were responsible for forecasting, valuation analysis, and advising on a Management Buy-Out process. Prior to that, Ash was the Group Accountant at LED Hut Ltd and the Management Accountant at Citation Professional Solutions. They also worked as a Senior Digital Analyst at ao.com and as an Assistant Management Accountant at LF Europe. Their early experience includes a role as a Clinical Data Coordinator at DePuy International.

Ash McDowell attended Altrincham Grammar School for Boys from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained A Levels in Economics, ICT, and Maths, and AS Level in Physics. They then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting and Finance from Sheffield Hallam University, graduating in 2011. In 2014, Ash achieved Associate Status from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
