Clarence Grier

Clarence Grier is a CPA, CITP, CGMA, and ICMA-CM with extensive experience in financial management and public administration. Currently serving as the County Manager for Cumberland County, NC, Clarence previously held positions such as Deputy City Manager for the City of Roanoke, VA, and Deputy County Manager for Guilford County. With a background that includes roles in finance, information services, and audit management, Clarence brings a diverse skill set to their leadership roles in local government. A graduate of Campbell University, Clarence holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting.
