Favour Borokini is currently a Cumberland Lodge Fellow since September 2023 and a PhD candidate at the University of Nottingham. Previously, Favour served as a fellow at the Diverse Intelligences Summer Institute in mid-2023 and led the African Women in Artificial Intelligence project at Pollicy, producing influential reports on the experiences of African women in the AI field. Additional roles include Research Fellow at The Future Society, Affiliate at Ethical Intelligence Associates, and Research Associate at Tech Hive Advisory, focusing on data development in Africa. Favour's earlier experience also includes research assistance at the Court of Appeal and involvement in various research positions at CSET Foretell and the African Data Governance Initiative. Education includes a PhD at the University of Nottingham, a B.L from the Nigerian Law School, and an LLB from the University of Benin.
