Andrea Barnwell Brownlee

Andrea Barnwell Brownlee has held various roles in the art and museum field. Andrea Barnwell currently serves as the George W. and Kathleen I. Gibbs Director & CEO at The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens since January 2021. Prior to this, they were a Member of The Board of Advisors at the Nasher Museum of Art starting in 2017. From 2001 to 2020, they worked as the Director of the Spelman College Museum of Fine Art at Spelman College.

Andrea Barnwell Brownlee obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Art History, Criticism and Conservation from Duke University in 2001.
