Andreé Decurt

Andre Fredericks is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology and operational leadership within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Sanlam Studios since October 2023, Andre is focused on leveraging emerging technologies to create innovative ventures, including the development of a Trusted AI Financial Coach. Prior to this role, Andre held several key positions at Sanlam, including Chief Executive of Sanlam Rewards and Chief Information Officer at Sanlam Indie, where contributions were made to enhance client and intermediary experiences and to establish a digital insurance startup. Andre's career spans over two decades and includes a strong foundation in enterprise architecture, IT strategy, and governance, with a progressive trajectory that began as a developer at Sanlam and Intec Telecom Systems. Educational credentials include an MBA from Stellenbosch University and advanced programmes in innovation and leadership from Singularity University and GIBS Business School.
