Douglas Casagrande

Douglas Casagrande serves as the Global Director of Advanced Engineering, R&D and Innovation at Cummins Inc., having held this position since November 2022. Prior to joining Cummins, Douglas held various leadership roles at Meritor from June 2015 to November 2022, including Director of Engineering for Advanced Engineering and positions focused on electric vehicles and technical cost optimization. Douglas began their career at Marcopolo S.A. and held engineering roles at Master Sistemas Automotivos, contributing to product design and development in the commercial vehicle sector. Educational qualifications include a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Caxias do Sul, a post-graduation in Innovation on Product and Process Engineering, and a degree in Business Administration.
