Hamidou Ballo

Hamidou Ballo is a skilled technology professional currently serving as a Bloomberg Tech Lab Fellow since April 2024, where collaboration with Bloomberg engineers involved building an application using RabbitMQ and Docker, along with designing a message queue system in Python. As a BASTA Fellow from September 2023, participation in a rigorous career prep program for first-generation college students has been a key focus. Hamidou has also been a Tech Fellow at CUNY Tech Prep since August 2022 and has experience as a Data Science Researcher at Microsoft for a brief period in 2023. Previous roles include Technology Analyst at AIG, where report enhancements were made using Power BI, Website Associate at HABNET Chamber of Commerce, and Student Assistant at Borough of Manhattan Community College. Hamidou Ballo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Hunter College and an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Borough of Manhattan Community College.
