Wallace Smith's work experience begins in 1997 when they served as a Platoon Leader for the 123rd Signal Battalion in the US Army. Wallace then went on to work as a Battalion Signal Officer for the 3/7 Infantry and later as a Battalion Signal Officer for the 2/3 Aviation Battalion. In 2002, they became an Assistant Operations Officer for the 2nd Signal Brigade. From 2003 to 2004, they commanded the 11th Signal Detachment and was recognized for their unit's maintenance excellence. Wallace then served as the Commander of the A Company, 44th Signal Battalion, and later as the Brigade Signal Officer for the 158th IN Brigade. From 2008 to 2010, Smith worked as an Operations Officer for the 69th Signal Battalion, managing a strategic communications network. In 2010, they became an Advisor to the Iraqi Director General of Communications, helping to improve the country's defense communications capabilities. Smith joined the US Army as a Strategic Planner in 2015, providing support to senior executives. In 2017, they became the Executive Officer for the US Army Office of Business Transformation and Army Futures Command Task Force Commander, contributing to the creation and establishment of the US Army Futures Command. From 2018 to 2020, Smith served as a Senior Strategic Planner, providing staffing and planning support to the Secretary of the Army and Chief of Staff of the Army. In 2020, they joined CuraPatient as the Head of Government Affairs, leading the national effort on COVID-19 vaccine administration.
Wallace Smith received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of South Carolina, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Central Michigan University, completing their studies from 2010 to 2011.
