Jon Shoemaker has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jon started their career at Abbott in 1992, where they held various positions in production planning, supervision, and management. In 1998, they joined Hospira, where they worked as a purchasing and warehouse manager before becoming the VP of Strategic Initiatives at Healthcare Innovative Solutions in 2005. Jon returned to Hospira in 2006 and held several leadership positions, including director of global strategic program management, director of manufacturing operations, director of Lean implementation, and materials manager. In 2013, they joined AstraZeneca as the director of supply chain for their West Chester Ohio site. Jon later worked at Akorn, Inc as the vice president and general manager of Decatur Operations before joining AMRI (Albany Molecular Research Inc.) in 2019 as the vice president and general manager of Albuquerque Operations. Throughout their career, Jon Shoemaker has demonstrated expertise in operations, supply chain management, and operational excellence.

Jon Shoemaker earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ashland University in 1992. Jon then went on to complete their Master of Business Administration in Marketing and International Business at Loyola University Chicago from 1996 to 2000.
