Jeff Moore has a strong background in stem cell research and therapeutic development. Jeff founded Phylogix Inc in 1999, where they developed a stem cell growth regulator and raised $16 million in venture financing. Prior to that, they worked at ImClone Systems as a Senior Scientist, where they discovered a protein that preserved human cord blood stem cells. Jeff also has experience at DNAX Research Institute and the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, where they refined growth factor discovery methods and learned stem cell growth factor discovery methods, respectively. Jeff began their career as a Researcher and PhD student at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, where they discovered the clonality of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria. Most recently, Jeff founded Curileum Discovery Ltd in 2015, focusing on discovering and developing novel small molecules to intervene in gastrointestinal disease.
Jeff Moore completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry at Colorado College from 1977 to 1981. Following this, they pursued a PhD in Genetics at The George Washington University from 1982 to 1987.
