Vanessa Gillon

Vanessa Gillon has worked in various roles in the media and communications industry since 1994. Vanessa began their career at WJLA.com as a Producer and later became the Executive Producer. In 1999, they joined ABC News as a Producer for Special Events, where they produced the technology show "Ahead Of The Curve" for ABC News' digital platform. Vanessa also produced SamDonaldson@ABCNEWS.com, the first regularly-scheduled webcast produced by a television network. In 2014, Vanessa joined Curiosity Inc. as Vice President Operations, Director Of Marketing Operations, Manager of Content Publicity and Marketing, Communications Consultant, Director Of Communications, and Manager, Media and External Relations. In their role as Manager, Media and External Relations, they were responsible for overseeing and coordinating outreach to journalists and influencers, including preparing press kits, press releases, and other content initiatives. Vanessa also produced Curiosity Retreats, an annual event bringing together eminent visionaries, scholars, trendsetters and guests to explore the great questions of today.

Vanessa Gillon attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1990 to 1994 and obtained a Bachelor of Journalism in Broadcast News.
