Lana Kalfas

Originally from North Carolina, Lana is energized by grassroots community organizing whether at home or in her new life at Barnard College in New York. She wholeheartedly believes that structural inequities in education and public health can be healed creatively—and works towards this as Director of Social Activism and Awareness for Columbia’s Public Health Club and through her nonprofit work with middle schools in Durham, NC.
