Phil Gitler

Mr. Gitler has served as their Chief Strategy Officer since 2021. Mr. Gitler oversees their corporate development, capital markets, and strategy efforts, working closely with the executive management team, Board, and business units. Mr. Gitler has 25 years of experience in financial services sourcing and leading complex transactions through business cycles. Prior to joining CURO, Mr. Gitler worked as a portfolio manager for eight years at Waterfall Asset Management, LLC, a New York-based investment manager, where he managed an alternative investment portfolio, established CURO’s first Canadian asset-backed SPV lending facility, and served or observed on several boards of portfolio companies. Mr. Gitler began his career in investment banking where he worked for 15 years at Goldman Sachs & Co. and Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Gitler holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University.
