Benjamin Schimmel

Benjamin Schimmel is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in professional learning and educational technology. Currently serving as a Professional Learning Manager at Curriculum Associates since November 2020, Benjamin manages a team of 18 and oversees onboarding during rapid organizational growth. Previously, as a Senior Professional Learning Specialist at the same company, Benjamin supported large-scale implementations and collaborated with district leaders to create multi-year professional learning plans. Earlier roles include District Coordinator of Educational Technology for Normandy Schools Collaborative, where Benjamin developed professional development for a faculty of 250, and Educational Technology Facilitator for Seminole County Public Schools, focusing on K-12 teacher coaching and resource management. Benjamin holds a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University Bloomington.
