Tory Kolbjornsen

Tory Kolbjornsen is a seasoned Software Engineering Manager at Curriculum Associates, overseeing agile teams in the development lifecycle of multiple applications since May 2016, while also managing tech debt initiatives and promoting engineers' professional growth. Previously, Tory served as an Engineering Coordinator and Front End Engineer, developing dynamic web applications with JavaScript and innovative rendering frameworks. In addition to a robust engineering background, Tory has a rich performing arts experience, serving as a Brooklynette’s Dancer for the Brooklyn Nets and a Professional Dancer for the Boston Celtics, showcasing exceptional skills in live performance and public engagement. As a Dance Instructor and Co-President at Sarabande Dance Ensemble, Tory directed rehearsals and choreography for competitive teams. An alumnus of Tufts University with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tory also contributed to the university community as a Pre-Orientation Peer Leader, mentoring incoming students.
