Vera Rulon

Vera Rulon has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Vera began their career in 1990 as Assistant Director of Medical Records at Phelps Memorial Hospital. In 1993, they became Manager of Clinical Informatics at Oxford Health Plans, where they created a team to help with clinical review of claims and received AHIMA's Visionary and Best Practices awards for their work. From 1999 to 2017, they worked at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in various roles, including Director of Strategic Communications, Director of Program Development and Maintenance, Team Lead of TMF Leadership and Support Team, Director of Records Management Sciences, and Associate Director of Regional Information Services. In 2017, they founded and became President of Tir Health Advisors LLC, and in 2019 became Senior Advisory Consultant at American Telemedicine Association. Vera also held a Solutions Partner role at Currnt from 2017 to 2019 and Senior Advisor Strategy role at HIMSS from 2017 to 2019.

Vera Rulon has an extensive educational background. Vera holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Alliance University, a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from Dominican University New York, and an Associate of Science in Medical Records Technology from Rockland Community College. Additionally, they are a Fellow of AHIMA and a Registered Health Information Technologist.
