Steven Powers

Steven Powers has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Steven started their career in 1988 as an Associate Engineer at ARINC Engineering Services, LLC, where they worked on systems integration and test engineering for rotary winged aircraft. Steven then progressed to the role of Senior Engineer, where they continued to work on integration and testing for various aircraft models. From 1994 to 1997, Steven served as a Principal Engineer at the same company, specializing in systems integration and testing for fixed and rotary winged aircraft, including HF communications systems and EFIS and flight management systems. In 1997, Steven joined Curtis Industries, A Div. of Powers Holdings, Inc. as the Director of Product Development. Steven later became the VP of Engineering and eventually assumed the role of President in May 2003.

Steven Powers attended the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Steven then pursued further education at The Johns Hopkins University from 1992 to 1996, earning a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering.
