Mike Putman

Mike Putman has an extensive background in the travel industry, with experience spanning over 35 years. In 1984, they founded Putman Travel, one of the largest privately-held travel agencies in the southeast. In 1995, they founded 11th Hour Vacations, one of the first online travel companies. From 2001 to 2008, they served as Senior Vice President of Leisure Travel for OneTravel.com, where they initiated and maintained relationships with many key industry suppliers, and developed a white-label travel service. In 2006, they became CEO of Elliepsis, a travel technology provider, and took the company from start-up mode to a publicly traded, profitable company within 24 months. In 2008, they merged two independent travel companies into Rovia LLC, launching a full-blown travel booking platform. In 2004, they founded Travel Team Consulting and served as an E-commerce Consultant and Interim MD for 10best.com. Since 2015, they have been an Advisor and Investor to brettapproved, an organization dedicated to helping those with disabilities travel confidently, and an Advisor to Hyper Travel, a travel startup that allows users to book flights and hotels via a chat interface. In 2015, they also founded Custom Travel Solutions, a leading e-commerce travel industry solutions provider.

Mike Putman attended Anderson University (SC) from 1983 to 1985, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Mike then attended Furman University from 1984 to 1986, studying Marketing, Computer Science, and Economics.
