Lars Theunissen has a diverse work experience in various industries. Lars started their career as a Digital Marketing Manager at Airbnb, where they developed digital marketing strategies and created compelling content for partner listings. Lars then worked as a Field Marketing Manager at Mendix before co-founding WatchMyDog NL, an online marketplace for dogs and pet sitters in the Netherlands. Lars was responsible for connecting dog owners with trusted dog sitters and grew the community to over 500 professionals. Lars later became the Product-Led-Growth Marketing Owner at Siemens Digital Industries Software, where they led a team and implemented programs to drive developer growth and user activation. Currently, Lars is a Product Manager at Customer.io, a customer engagement platform that helps marketers create personalized messaging campaigns.
Lars Theunissen obtained their Bachelor's degree in International Business and Management Studies from Rotterdam Business School, where they attended from 2015 to 2019. Lars also pursued a minor in International Strategy and Marketing at Coventry University in London, United Kingdom, from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, Lars has obtained various certifications, including Marketo Marketing Training from Marketo, an Adobe Company in February 2019, Google Analytics Exam from Google in November 2017, Facebook Blueprint Course from Facebook in October 2017, and Google Adwords Exam from Google in September 2017. Prior to their university education, they completed their HAVO diploma from Dalton Lyceum Barendrecht in June 2015. Lars also obtained a Propaedeutic certificate from Rotterdam Business School in March 2016.
