Cal Zemelman

Cal Zemelman has a strong background in data science and engineering. Cal began their career as a Consultant at CGI Federal in 2004 before moving on to become a Manager at Customer Value Partners in 2006. In 2010, they joined USMC MCCS as a Supervisor in Business Intelligence, where they stayed until 2016. Cal then returned to Customer Value Partners as the Vice President of Data Science & Engineering in 2017, where they currently hold a position.

Cal Zemelman holds a Master of Science degree in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia, which was obtained in the academic years 2010-2011. Prior to that, Cal pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University. In addition to their formal education, Cal has obtained various certifications, including the Microsoft Professional Program in Data Science from Microsoft in April 2017. Cal also holds certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), such as AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional. Furthermore, Cal has certifications from Google as a Professional Cloud Architect and a Professional Data Engineer.
