Anthony Mai

Anthony Mai's work experience includes over two decades in the banking industry, with a focus on healthcare finance. Anthony began their career at Fleet Bank in 1998, where they served as a Senior Account Manager in Healthcare Leasing. In this role, they worked with capital medical equipment sales representatives and ambulatory surgery center developers to secure financing for transactions. Mai coordinated various departments, including credit underwriting, capital markets, legal, accounting, and documentation, to ensure successful deal closures. Anthony also assisted in training new inside sales staff.

In 2003, Mai joined CIT as a National Business Development professional, where they originated healthcare financial services business for imaging, radiation, and Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). Anthony established a proven track record of selling sophisticated financial products, including public finance and structured finance solutions, to CFOs, Treasurers, and physicians. Additionally, Mai demonstrated expertise in leading deal teams and coordinating internal resources to facilitate complex sales.

In 2008, Mai joined Sun National Bank as a Senior Vice President, Healthcare Finance. Anthony played a pivotal role in creating Sun National Bank's Healthcare vertical, conceptualizing and presenting the go-to-market strategy to executive management. Mai also developed risk acceptance criteria specifically designed for the healthcare space.

Next, Mai joined BBVA Compass in 2013 as a Senior Vice President of Healthcare Finance, where they continued to utilize their expertise in the field. During their tenure, they played a key role in healthcare finance until February 2016.
