Shoaib Mohammed

Shoaib Mohammed has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as Co-Founder & CTO at CustomFit.ai, which they joined in May 2019. In this role, they are responsible for defining the product roadmap, making high-level technological decisions, and leading the efforts to build the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

Prior to CustomFit.ai, Shoaib co-founded and served as the CTO at BackBuckle.io from January 2018 to April 2019. At BackBuckle.io, they built the Feature-as-a-Service (FaaS) Platform, which provides ready-to-use features and micro-services for mobile, web, and IoT apps.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Shoaib worked at Blue Jeans Network as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2016 to October 2017. In this role, they were part of the API platform team and was responsible for designing, building, and scaling the backend API platform. Shoaib also developed an integration with Panopto, allowing recordings from BlueJeans to be automatically uploaded into Panopto's platform. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Blue Jeans Network from July 2014 to May 2016, where they designed and implemented an inhouse video transcoder service using FFmpeg.

Shoaib's early experience includes a role as a Trainee Software Engineer at Fiorano Software from January 2014 to June 2014. Here, they worked on the Java Compiler Validation Test Suite and implementation/testing of Fiorano MQ (Message Queue).

Shoaib Mohammed obtained their MSc Tech degree in Information Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Shoaib attended the institute from 2010 to 2014.
