Krishan Senevirathne

Krishan Senevirathne has over 10 years of work experience in the software engineering industry. Krishan started their career in 2011 as a Trainee Software Engineer at IronOne Technologies LLC. Krishan also served as a Visiting Lecturer - Java@ICBT at ICBT CAMPUS during the same year. In 2013, they joined Sysco Labs Sri Lanka as a Software Engineer and was later promoted to Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead. In 2018, they moved to Sysco as a Technical Lead and Senior Technical Lead. In 2021, they joined Cut+Dry as Director of Engineering and was later promoted to Vice President of Engineering. At Sysco LABS Sri Lanka, they currently serve as a Senior Software Architect.

Krishan Senevirathne began their education at Richmond College Galle, where they studied Physical Science. Krishan then went on to the University of Moratuwa, where they obtained a Bsc Eng in Computer Science and Engineering. Krishan also holds certifications from Sun Microsystems, including Sun Certified Web Component Developer 5.0, which they obtained in June 2010, and Sun Certified Java Programmer 6.0, which they obtained in December 2009. Additionally, they hold an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), which they obtained in February 2020.
