Helge Høibraaten

Helge Høibraaten has a diverse work experience in the media industry. In 1992, they started their career as a freelance director, camera operator, and editor. From 1994 to 1998, they worked as a TV director at Nordisk Film (Viscom). Helge then became the CEO of Mosaikk Media, where they produced documentaries and other content from 1998 to 2000.

In 2000, Høibraaten joined TV 2 as the Manager and Editor in Chief of TV 2 Sumo, a role they held for over 10 years until 2011. During their time at TV 2, they built TV 2's OTT service from the ground up, making it the dominant Nordic OTT service.

After leaving TV 2, Høibraaten co-founded Vimond Media Solutions in 2011, where they served as the CEO. Vimond Media Solutions provides platforms and expertise for monetizing video services on internet-connected devices. Under their leadership, Vimond Media Solutions became a key global technology vendor in the OTT space.

From 2019, Høibraaten served as a board member at TV BRA. In 2021, they worked as a visionary entrepreneur, leveraging their 20-year track record in building successful teams for B2C and B2B businesses. Notably, they built Vimond Media Solutions and TV 2's OTT service, establishing himself as a leader in the broadcasting industry.

In 2022, Helge Høibraaten became a co-CEO and co-founder of CuttingRoom, further expanding their entrepreneurial endeavors in the media industry.

Helge Høibraaten attended the University of Bergen (UiB) from 1989 to 1993. During their time there, they pursued a degree in Cand Mag, with a focus on History, Media, Broadcast, and Film studies.
