Deepak Pandey

Deepak Pandey is a Research Scholar at the Department of Design, IIT Kanpur, since July 2024. Previously, Deepak worked as a Graduate Research Student at CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI) from August 2022 to July 2024, focusing on the development of soft sensors for wearable robotics, flexible electronics, and medical applications. A winter research internship was completed under the Accelerate Vigyan - Vritika Program, focusing on IoT and AI applications. Prior experience includes serving as a Quality Engineer at JAIRAJ ANCILLARIES PRIVATE LIMITED from June 2021 to August 2022, where responsibilities included implementing corrective and preventive action techniques and ensuring first part approval for precision manufacturing. Deepak holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, a Master’s degree in Mechatronics from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Soft Robotics and Human-Robot Interaction at IIT Kanpur.
