Lawrence Santistevan

Lawrence Santistevan, DVM, DACVIM (Cardiology), currently serves as a Veterinary Cardiologist at CVCA Cardiac Care for Pets, starting in August 2023. Prior to this position, Lawrence completed a Cardiology Residency at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine from July 2020 to August 2023, following an Emergency and Critical Care Internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital from July 2019 to July 2020. Lawrence gained additional experience as a Small Animal Surgery and Internal Medicine Rotating Intern at VCA West Los Angeles Animal from June 2018 to June 2019. Lawrence's research experience includes positions at Colorado State University, where projects focused on various aspects of veterinary medicine, and as a research volunteer at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Early in the career, Lawrence worked as a Veterinary Technician at Aspen Grove Veterinary Care and served as a Supervised College Teaching Assistant for Gross Domestic Animal Anatomy while studying at Colorado State University. Lawrence earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2018 and a B.S. in Biological Sciences in 2012, both from Colorado State University.
