Kamran Tahir

Kamran Tahir, CFA, currently serves as Senior Manager, Credit at CWB Maxium Financial since June 2023. Previously, Kamran spent nearly a decade at the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) as Senior Analyst (Unit Head), leading a team of four analysts and significantly contributing to a strategic response to the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, which included implementing emergency credit facilities exceeding $5 billion and rescheduling loans totaling over $2 billion. In addition, Kamran was a Visiting Lecturer at Hamdard University in 2019, teaching "Accounting for Planning & Decision Making" to MBA students and providing mentorship in banking and financial services. Kamran holds a Master's Degree in Finance from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, alongside an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Institute of Business Administration, and both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration from Karachi University.
