Charles Haworth has over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on wind and hydrogen projects. Currently, they serve as the Chief Operating and Financial Officer at CWP Global, where they lead the company's green hydrogen business and oversees ultra-large-scale hydrogen P2X renewable energy projects globally. Previously, Charles held various leadership roles at GE Renewable Energy, including Global Executive Director of Tendering and Commercial Operations for Offshore Wind, Executive Director of Tendering Commercial Operations for MENAT (Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, and Pakistan), and Risk and Operations Leader for EMEA, India, and Asia. Charles was also a Commercial Leader for GE Renewable Energy in Northern Europe. Charles began their career with GE Energy as a Commercial Leader for Gas Turbine Power Plants, where they successfully negotiated equipment contracts across multiple countries. Charles is highly experienced in strategic leadership, financial stewardship, bidding, risk analysis, negotiating contracts, and driving sales growth.

Charles Haworth has a strong educational background. Charles completed the GE Accelerated Leadership Program in Business Administration and Management from Crotonville Alumni, which took place from 2016 to 2018. Prior to this, they obtained a PhD in Ultrafast Laser Physics and Attoscience from Imperial College London from 2003 to 2006. Charles also earned an Msci degree in Physics from the same institution from 1999 to 2003.
