Kabir Chattopadhyay

Kabir Chattopadhyay has a diverse range of work experience in software development and research. Kabir currently works at CXsphere as a Technical Team Lead, where they have developed MVPs for lead generation and e-commerce integrations, implemented security measures and quality assurance processes, and managed a team of developers, data scientists, and QA engineers. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at KATERRA, where they spearheaded the development of complex MVPs, automated matching of architectural drawings, and constructed a tool to extract crucial details from construction spec documents. Kabir also has experience as a Research Assistant at Honda Reseach Institute Japan Co. Ltd., where they developed and tested neural networks and optimized their performance, and as a Software Developer at Global Relay, where they developed features and tests for a Java backend and built a data migration tool. Kabir has also worked as a Software Engineer at Flywheel Software, where they translated a Ruby-based backend to Go and developed a proof of concept for routing using OpenStreetMaps. Additionally, they have worked as a Research Assistant at Defence Research and Development Canada Atlantic Research Centre and Computational Fluid Dynamics Laboratory, conducting research in various areas such as interpolation, data analysis, and image processing.

Kabir Chattopadhyay completed their secondary education from 2005 to 2012 at the United World College of South East Asia. Kabir obtained an IB Diploma during this period. Later, from 2012 to 2019, Kabir pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with a major in Physics at The University of British Columbia. In January 2023, they obtained certification as Triplebyte Certified from Triplebyte.
