Ali Ufuk Demirci

Ali Ufuk Demirci, CFA, serves as the Global Head of Venture Capital Funds at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) since September 2011, where Demirci established the venture funds practice in 2014, committing approximately $1 billion in venture capital funds and direct equity transactions. Additionally, Demirci holds the position of Head of Venture Capital in Europe and has served as a Senior Investment Officer. In parallel, Demirci is an investor and board member with various firms, including Valor Capital Group, 3one4, AC Ventures, The Engine, Engineer.ai, LAUNCHub Ventures, Tembici, Jungle Ventures, and CY Vision. Demirci earned an MBA in Finance from The George Washington University School of Business and a B.S. in Business Administration from Middle East Technical University.
