Tony L.

Tony L. has over 25 years of work experience, starting from 1994. Tony began their career at Marconi Instruments Ltd. as an Applications Engineer, where they designed and implemented bespoke test and measurement solutions. Tony then worked as a Senior Applications Engineer, Senior Engineer/Group Leader, and Senior Software Engineer/Team Leader at various companies, including IFR System Inc., Marconi Instruments Ltd., and Aeroflex International Ltd. During these roles, they gained strong technical control and management skills, overseeing the development of software suites and leading cross-functional agile teams. In 2008, they joined Canon Medical Research Europe Ltd., where they held positions such as Senior Software Engineer, Software Team Lead, and Technical Manager. Tony played a key role in line management, career development, and operational efficiency of software development and IT teams. In 2020, they took a career break due to the COVID-19 pandemic and spent some time developing a personal app. Currently, Tony is working at Cyacomb as a Senior Developer and was recently promoted to Engineering Manager.

From 1989 to 1993, Tony L. attended Heriot-Watt University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honors degree in Computer Science.
