René Bürke

René Bürke has a diverse and extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. René is currently employed at cyan Security Group as a Technical Product Manager, starting in December 2020. Prior to this, René worked at IDEMIA, where they held various senior product management roles from 2008 to 2020. Their responsibilities at IDEMIA included managing eUICC, NFC, LTE, SIM OS, and SIM development software projects. Before joining IDEMIA, René worked at o2 Germany/Telefónica as a Requirements Manager, where they were involved in gathering and defining device requirements for mobile terminals. René also coordinated and harmonized terminal requirements on an international level. René started their career in 2002 at T-Mobile International/AT as a SIM Designer and Developer.

René Bürke started their education in 1995 at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, where they pursued a degree in Applied Information Science (Information Systems). René completed their studies at this institution in 2000 and obtained a Dipl. Inf. degree. In 1999, René Bürke enrolled at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, majoring in Information Science, but it is unclear whether they completed a degree at this institution.

Additionally, René Bürke has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they became a certified Product Manager through the Product Focus certification program. René has also pursued various cybersecurity-related specializations through Coursera, including the IBM Cybersecurity Analyst Specialization, IT Fundamentals for Cybersecurity Specialization, and Security Analyst Fundamentals Specialization. These certifications were obtained in 2021 and 2022. Most recently, in 2023, René Bürke completed the Secure Coding Practices Spezialisierung certification from Coursera.
