Si Kai Tan, P.E. has a diverse work experience that spans several years. Si Kai has primarily worked in the chemical manufacturing industry, with a focus on process engineering and project management. Si Kai has experience leading large capital projects, including design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup. Si Kai has also managed and mentored a team of engineers and led research and development projects for innovative technologies. Si Kai has successfully commissioned and started up a solid sodium cyanide processing plant, ensuring high safety and quality standards. Si Kai has also provided technical support and training to gold mining industries. Prior to their work at Cyanco, Si Kai worked at INVISTA, where they served as a Site Energy Coordinator and Site QPU Champion, focusing on improving work processes and developing monitoring systems. Si Kai also worked as an Operations Engineer, gaining valuable experience in operations management.

Si Kai Tan, P.E. pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Lamar University, from 2007 to 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, Si Kai Tan obtained the professional certification of Professional Engineer (PE) from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in December 2019. Furthermore, they also completed the Cyanco Frontline Leadership Development program at SkillPath, which they acquired in June 2023.
