We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our AI & Data Science team. This role is critical in driving the innovation and development of AI and machine learning solutions that enhance our product offerings and improve customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI, machine learning, data science, and software engineering, with proven leadership skills and the ability to put their knowledge to practical use to enhance Cyara’s product offerings. 

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AI and data science professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment aligning with Cyara's business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development for team members.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of AI and data science projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science, and apply this knowledge to improve Cyara's products.
  • Ensure the team follows best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for leveraging AI and machine learning to enhance Cyara's customer experience assurance platform.

Let’s talk about your skills/expertise:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
  • With 10+ years of overall experience, 5+ years of proven experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, pandas, NumPy, etc.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong analytical and quantitative background.
  • Demonstrates a strong technical foundation and the ability to lead technical projects in previous roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
