Janis Berzins

Janis Berzins has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Janis began their career at Lattelekom in 1997 as a System Analyst. After five years, they joined Exigen Group as a System Analyst, Consultant, and Team Leader, staying with the company until 2005. From there, Janis worked at A/S ISS International as a Developer and Project Manager for two years. Janis then returned to Exigen Group as a Consultant for one year. Janis joined Exigen Services as a Consultant in 2008 and transitioned to Intrum Justitia in 2012 as a Service Manager. In 2015, they moved to Cyara, where they worked as a Software Developer and later as a Product Owner, a role they currently hold. Janis has gained extensive experience in software development, project management, and service management throughout their career.

Janis Berzins obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Latvijas Universitate, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Janis then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the same institution and completed it from 1999 to 2003. In terms of certifications, Janis obtained the PRINCE2® Foundation (P2F) certification from APM Group in October 2013. Janis also holds the Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer certification from Oracle, which they achieved in September 2011. Additionally, Janis is a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner, obtained in February 2020, and holds certifications as a Certified SAFe® 4 Product Owner/Product Manager and a Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist, achieved in November 2019 and October 2019 respectively.
