Nitzan Levi

Nitzan Levi has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security and privacy. Nitzan is the Co-Founder of Cybecs Security Solutions ltd, a consulting firm specializing in customized cyber security and privacy services. Nitzan is also a Fellow at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) at Reichman University (IDC Herzliya), where they provide consultancy services and expertise in cyber security. Additionally, they have served as the Information Security Program Leader at Bar-Ilan University and as a DevSecOps Security professional at Sapiens. Prior to these roles, Nitzan was the IT Manager at Malca-Amit, where they led a team in software development and maintenance. Nitzan also has experience as a Software Engineer at Matrix and as an Operations Manager | IT Support at Tarom. Throughout their career, Nitzan has demonstrated expertise in governance, regulations, software development, risk management, and cyber training.

From 2000 to 2003, Nitzan attended Hamaslool Ha'akademi shel Hamichlala Leminhal, where they obtained a B.Sc. in Computer Science with a focus on information systems and image processing.

In 2016 and 2017, Nitzan pursued additional education at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. They completed a program called TCISO - Technion Certified Information Security Officer, specializing in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.

Nitzan also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In May 2016, they earned the Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate from ISACA. In May 2020, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². In August 2020, Nitzan acquired the CDPSE - Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer certification from ISACA. Later, in September 2020, they gained the CCSK - Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge from the Cloud Security Alliance. In February 2020, Nitzan became a Certified Systems Analyst (CSA) through training provided by John Bryce. Additionally, they obtained the CCNA Routing & Switching - Certified Instructor certification from Cisco in February 2020. In October 2019, Nitzan also became a CCNA Cybersecurity Operations - Certified Instructor, also from Cisco. Most recently, Nitzan obtained the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in February 2021.

Furthermore, Nitzan has achieved the following certifications related to teaching and instruction: they are a DevNet Associate Certified Instructor from the Cisco Networking Academy, as of July 2021, and a CCNA Routing & Switching - Certified Instructor from Cisco since February 2020.
