Owen James

Owen James has a diverse background in information security, with experience in roles such as Senior Information Security Engineer, Cyber Security Engineer, Information System Security Officer, Security Operations Center Team Lead, and Information Security Analyst.

In their most recent role at Cyber Defense Technologies, Owen serves as a Senior Information Security Engineer, although the start and end dates for this position are not provided.

Prior to that, Owen worked for Booz Allen Hamilton as a Cyber Security Engineer, where they assisted the Department of Homeland Security's Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Program. Owen integrated information security tools with government agencies, showcased integration settings and configurations, and supported a dynamic cyber defense strategy.

Owen James completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Networking and Security at the University of Pittsburgh School of Computing and Information from 2013 to 2016. In addition to their degree, they obtained various certifications, including GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) from the SANS Institute in March 2017, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) from the SANS Institute in August 2016, A+ certification from CompTIA in May 2013, and Security+ certification from CompTIA in March 2015.
