Daniel G. Wolf

President at Cyber Pack Ventures

Upon departing government service after an exemplary 39 year career, Daniel G. Wolf, became the President of Cyber Pack Ventures, Inc. specializing in consulting on a variety of Information Assurance, Intelligence, and Homeland Security topics. He currently serves on a number of corporate boards and technical advisory groups and has a keen interest in cybersecurity related topics. He is Director of the Software Assurance Consortium, a non-profit group supporting end users and is active in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Software Assurance Working Groups.

His government career experience included implementing an Information Assurance strategy to protect government communications and networks carrying classified National Security Systems information. He managed an organization that provided support for 22 government agencies in DoD, the Intelligence Community, and Homeland Security as well as direct support to the US military worldwide.

Mr. Wolf earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Case Institute of Technology, and a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (Computer Systems) from the University of Maryland College Park. He is also a graduate of the Senior Executive Fellow Program at Harvard University (Kennedy School of Government) and the Federal Executive Institute (FEI) in Charlottesville, VA. For seventeen years he was a member of the Adjunct faculty of Howard Community College, where he taught C, Advanced C, and Java programming. Since 2007, he is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University Of Maryland University College in the Graduate School of Management & Technology, teaching Homeland Security courses.
