Andy Strangeways

Andy Strangeways is an accomplished Information Security Consultant currently with Cybercrowd since April 2019. With a robust background in information security and data management, Strangeways previously served as Churchwarden at St. Peter's Church in Didcot from September 2018 to May 2023. From June 2013 to August 2018, a significant role was held at National Grid as Head of Data Management, where Strangeways implemented a corporate data governance program and led the development of a cloud-based Configuration Management Database. Prior experience includes positions as Delivery Manager for Security Services at Atos International, Information Security Manager at Siemens IT Solutions, and Planning & Compliance Manager at BBC Technology. Strangeways began a career in IT as Business Technology Manager at Digital Equipment Corporation after earning an MA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
