Vitaly Chipounov

Vitaly Chipounov has extensive work experience in the fields of cybersecurity and research. Vitaly co-founded Cyberhaven in 2014 and currently holds the position of Chief Architect. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Assistant at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne from 2008 to 2014.

Vitaly Chipounov's education history begins with their completion of a Baccalauréat National degree from Lycée International de Ferney-Voltaire in 2003. Following this, they pursued their Master of Computer Science degree at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2003 to 2008. During their master's program, they also had a short-term experience at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2005-2006, although the field of study and degree obtained are unspecified.

After completing their master's degree, Vitaly Chipounov continued their education at EPFL and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from 2008 to 2014.
